€8500 ICE2EV Government Grant: ICE2EV Grant Offer – Terms & Conditions The ICE2EV Grant is a Government-supported initiative administered by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and is subject to official scheme rules, eligibility criteria, funding availability, and approval by the relevant authorities. Eligible applicants may receive up to €5,000 towards the purchase of a new Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) when permanently removing a qualifying Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicle from use. The ICE2EV Grant may be available in addition to the existing SEAI Electric Vehicle Grant of up to €3,500, providing potential combined support of up to €8,500, subject to eligibility and approval. To qualify, the vehicle being removed from use must: Be registered in the applicant's name within the State for a minimum of 12 months prior to application; Be registered in 2013 or earlier; Hold a valid NCT certificate, or an NCT certificate that expired no more than six months before the application date; Have been taxed and insured for road use during the six months immediately preceding the application. The ICE2EV Grant payment must be used towards the purchase of a new Battery Electric Vehicle that meets all applicable grant requirements. Grant funding is limited and will be allocated in accordance with scheme rules. Current Government guidance indicates that approximately 65% of available funding will be reserved for rural applicants and 35% for urban applicants, based on Central Statistics Office (CSO) Census 2022 classifications. Applications are subject to verification, approval, and funding availability. Neither Autoboland nor the vehicle manufacturer can guarantee grant approval. The existing SEAI Electric Vehicle Grant price threshold is currently subject to change. For applications submitted after 31 July 2026, the maximum eligible vehicle purchase price is expected to be €50,000. Applicants should refer to the latest SEAI guidance for confirmation. Auto Boland acts solely as a vehicle retailer and is not responsible for the administration, approval, payment, amendment, suspension, or withdrawal of any Government grant scheme. Full eligibility requirements, application procedures, and final scheme terms will be published by SEAI. Customers should review the official scheme documentation before making any purchase decision. These terms are provided for information purposes only and may be updated without notice to reflect changes to Government policy or grant scheme requirements.
